“My son started at KIMAC 3 years ago and his brother joined when he turned 4. I love that my kids are still excited to go to classes each week. They learn about exercise, nutrition, and being respectful (which has done wonders at school and at home)."

"I started martial arts as a teenager, but never finished my path to a black belt. I was reintroduced when my son started at KI Martial Arts Center after team sports club burnout. He immediately took to the KIMAC staff and is nearing the completion of his journey to a black belt. Mr. Tom encouraged me to give it a try again and restart my journey. The KIMAC staff has been nothing but supportive, pushing just enough to keep progressing while not overdoing what I could handle. After almost three years, I'm happy to say I'm closing in on my bucket list of getting the black belt. Along the way, I'm stronger, healthier, more confident, and relaxed. I'd recommend KIMAC to anyone who wants a healthy activity that is both personally challenging and rewarding."

Queen Anne's County Public Schools Partners with Kent Island Martial Arts to Expand Physical Education Offerings
📍 Stevensville, MD
Queen Anne's County Public Schools has announced an exciting new partnership with Kent Island Martial Arts Center to enhance physical education offerings and promote lifelong wellness among students in grades K–12.
"We are always looking for innovative ways to engage students in physical activity and build healthy habits for life. This collaboration brings a fresh approach that blends movement with important positive behavioral outcomes."
Michael Page
Supervisor of Physical Education, Queen Anne's County Public Schools
Kent Island Martial Arts Center, an accredited self-defense school that has proudly served the Kent Island community for over 30 years, recently visited physical education classrooms across the county to lead students in a dynamic, non-contact lesson focused on character development, physical fitness, and mental focus. The lesson emphasized the many life skills students can gain from martial arts training—such as confidence, discipline, respect, and improved concentration—which are vital to success both in and out of the classroom.
"We are honored to work with local schools to share the benefits of martial arts education with even more children in our wonderful community. Our mission is to help students excel not just physically, but in every aspect of their lives."
